Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for key aspects of the companys accounting operations to ensure timely adherence to the monthly financial closing and reporting cycle and accurate timely and meaningful communication of financial information to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
- Complete month end closing activities including journal entries reconciliations financial analysis and reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
- Support budget and forecasting as needed.
- Prepare supporting schedules for external audit.
- Develops process improvements to gain efficiencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelors degree in accounting.
- Three years of strong general accounting experience.
- Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and continuous improvement mentality.
- Keen problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize assignments according to timelines and importance of tasks.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and with others.
- Ability to operate in a fast moving teamoriented collaborative environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windowsbased computer applications with advanced knowledge of Excel.
