Job description

Ascent CFO Solutions is looking for a top-notch Fractional CFO/Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team of fractional financial professionals. You will provide strategic CFO services, lead client teams, and oversee the quality of deliverables to our diverse portfolio of clients as well as drive new business for our growing team.  Your work will be meaningful and exciting, supporting businesses that are going through transformation, growth, process improvement, fundraising, preparing for an exit, and/or looking to acquire other companies.

Our clients include cutting-edge startups, scale-ups, and private companies, in addition to VC- and PE-backed companies across a wide range of industries (technology, SaaS, professional services, construction, manufacturing, eCommerce, healthcare, CPG, FinTech, real estate, and more). We are looking for a CFO with a passion for business development with significant experience in these industries, especially those familiar with venture-backed companies and raising venture funds.

This is a hands-on role for an entrepreneurial CFO who loves networking and sharing our story and wants to work with companies in diverse industries. You will have the opportunity to leverage your network to drive new business opportunities for the company.  You will be the primary contact with your clients ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction with responsibility for timeliness, accuracy and completeness of deliverables. On some engagements you will be leading a team of accounting staff and on others you may be providing only strategic level advice or identifying and guiding prospects through the sales cycle.

Compensation: $130-140/hour based on experience plus robust and lucrative commission compensation
