As the Podcast Editor you will play a vital role in ensuring our podcast episodes overall quality and appeal. If you have the technical skills and knowledge to create engaging audio content and edit audio files we want you!
Responsibilities:
- Record and edit audio files to produce highquality podcast episodes.
- Design audio products that align with industry trends and meet the podcasts creative vision.
- Monitor and maintain the overall quality of audio production including sound clarity balance and coherence.
- Follow script instructions to portray the intended content and messaging accurately.
- Utilize sound engineering techniques to enhance audio quality including noise reduction equalization and audio effects.
- Create engaging and captivating audio content that resonates with listeners and keeps them engaged.
- Collaborate with other production team members including hosts producers and sound engineers to ensure a seamless podcast production process.
- Meet deadlines for audio production ensuring episodes are delivered on time and ready for release.
- Work independently managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks based on project timelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop innovative ideas and concepts for podcast episodes.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with podcast hosts guests and other team members.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in audio editing software and equipment with a strong understanding of industrystandard tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of podcasting trends including formatting episode structure and audio storytelling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently take ownership of projects and effectively manage time and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail ensuring audio quality consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
