NA s client is a healthcare insurance company dedicated to providing top-quality services to our members. As they expand their operations with a new call center, they are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to ensure smooth deployment and setup of workstations and telecommunications systems.

Position Overview:

As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for deploying workstations, setting up phone systems, and ensuring all necessary tools are in place for new hires at a new call center locations in Redding, CA and Fairfield, CA. Your role will involve imaging laptops, configuring software, setting up authentication systems, and providing basic mobile support.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy workstations and laptops for new employees, ensuring all necessary software and configurations are in place. Setup and configure phone systems (Cisco) for new hires, ensuring seamless communication channels. Image laptops and ensure proper installation of MS Office suite and other essential software. Provide authentication support, ensuring secure access to company resources. Assist with mobile support, specifically setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA) for new employees. Ensure all necessary tools and resources are available for new hires to perform their duties effectively. Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise during the deployment process. Document deployment procedures and maintain accurate records of all setup activities.

Required Skills : 2-3 years of experience in desktop support or similar roles. Experience with telecommunications systems, preferably Cisco. Proficiency in MS Office suite. Experience imaging laptops and deploying workstations. Strong understanding of authentication protocols and security best practices. Familiarity with mobile support, particularly setting up MFA. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
