Job description
Merchant Industry offers comprehensive services, including credit card processing, dual pricing card processing, cash advance, ISO sales agent programs, industry training, and various equipment solutions such as POS systems, terminals, and virtual gateway equipment.
We are growing rapidly and looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to drive new business relationships for our Swipe4Free product.
This position offers a base salary of $60,000, monthly residual commissions, bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including:

First year OTE $80,000 to $150,000!
This is an opportunity to help businesses cut costs by eliminating their credit card processing fees. You will also help the client set their business up with the latest and most appropriate POS system for their business.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Call on potential clients according to the assigned territory
- Generate and confirm appointments through prospecting, building a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals for new business
- Build value-added relationships and develop new client accounts to increase revenue
- Sustain a pipeline of suitable appointments and move prospects through the sales process quickly and efficiently through closing stages
- Complete the Sales Representative new hire training two-week training program
- Maintain knowledge of Swipe4Free products and services
- This is a hybrid position that is 4 days in the field and 1 day per week at our Long Island City location.
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma/GED/Degree from a school of higher learning
Experience & Qualifications:
- Outside sales experience
- Business to Business (B2B) sales experience a plus
- Canvassing or door to door sales experience a plus
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to analyze the needs of a client and provide strategic business solutions
- Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
- Product and industry knowledge is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly self-motivated and results-oriented
- Strong presentation, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
