NMC is currently recruiting for a Nurse Supervisor (RN) in the Operating Room.This position is a full-time position. Hours are 6:30a-3p Mon-Fri

JOB SUMMARY:

• The Nurse Supervisor manages daily operations of the Operating Room. Directs and supervises functions and activities; interprets policies, procedures, standards and regulations as appropriate. Partners with anesthesia providers and surgeons to ensure the quality and productivity of operations at Northwestern Medical Center.

PREREQUISITES

• Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's Degree in Nursing preferred. Must possess current licensure in the State of Vermont.
• Experience:
  • Minimum five years nursing experience in an Operating Room as a circulator and scrub role. Minimum of 2 years leadership experience.
• Special Skills:
  • Certification in AORN, ACLS and PALS desired. Certification in BLS required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Time management, organization and multitasking of competing priorities.
