Job description
Cost Accountant
Our Portland area client has an opening for a full-time Cost Accountant with exceptional SAP skills to join their onsite team. With innovation and dependability behind their products, this company continues to be a leader in its industry.
Cost Accountant Responsibilities
Handle inventory valuation, margin reporting, cycle counts, and physical inventory.
Perform job cost analysis, materials and labor cost analysis, variance analysis.
Complete inventory reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries for sales, material and labor costs, and WIP.
Provide system implementation support and process improvements.
Prepare metrics and present findings to managers.
Cost Accountant Qualifications
Associates degree in Accounting.
3 years of related inventory and cost accounting experience.
Prior manufacturing industry required.
Proficient with SAP, Access, and intermediate to advanced Excel required.
Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and organized.
Team player.
Salary: $85k-$95k (DOE)
