Since then, Waters has pioneered analytical techniques across markets including Clinical Diagnostics, Food & Environmental, Pharmaceuticals, and Materials. In Clinical Diagnostics, Waters has leading LC-MS technologies, which are already used for many applications including therapeutic drug monitoring, newborn screening, and endocrinology. With the growth in precision medicine, it is an exciting time for LC-MS in clinical diagnostics. For 10+ years, PCR-NGS techniques have been widely used for clinical diagnostics. Clinicians now want a real-time understanding of disease states, requiring a more complete picture of proteins, lipids, and steroids. LC-MS based assays are important to provide this level of insight with their analytical specificity, sensitivity, and capacity to analyze simultaneously multiple analytes. Our vision is for Waters to own the continued broad-based adoption of LC-MS. This will be accelerated by continued innovation including new ionization methods, improved ease of use, as well as novel applications in 'omics' research and anatomical pathology. Collaborating with the Senior Director, Commercial Excellence, Global Clinical Business Unit, this position will join a passionate, agile team to develop innovative solutions to address high unmet needs and establish Waters as the leader in clinical LC-MS diagnostics markets. Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to Design, develop and maintain both standardized and custom analytics tools, dashboards, and reports, using multiple systems/sources including Salesforce, Power BI, SQL and other tools to deliver accurate, consistent and timely information to the global and field organizations. Enable achievement of annual objectives by partnering with key collaborators including field based Clinical Commercial GMs, Sales management, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Marketing, Service, Chemistry & IT to define, supervise and refine relevant metrics that will connect commercial activities to business performance. Perform historical analyses to identify trends, risks and opportunities and develop insights to support the decision-making and strategic planning of the management team. Develop and refine forecasting models by using advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning Clearly and concisely articulate analytics findings to internal partners in the form of reports and presentations. Identify process improvement opportunities and scope solutions using technological enhancements and partnering with key stakeholders. Stay current on the latest analytics methodologies, platforms, and standard processes. The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following Experience CRM platforms, Salesforce highly preferred. Solid understanding of the underlying data structure. Microsoft Excel, VBA experience preferred. Must be able to write conditional IF formulas and be able to summarize information with pivot tables. SAP databases and SAP Analysis for Office. Power BI preferred. R Studio and/or Python preferred Minimum of 5+ years' experience solving business problems through analytics and Bachelor's Degree OR advanced analytics degree/certifications. Ability to work independently, balance multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Experience working as a global team member on multi-functional program teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to succinctly summarize key findings and articulate a clear story with data and then translate to marketing/business implications. Prior experience working with IVD products or Medical Devices preferred.
