The Associate Director, Marketing Strategy - Malignant Hematology will be responsible for supporting the marketing strategy for a launch brand, including the delivery of key strategic analyses and outputs to customer inform experience planning and execution within the Integrated Marketing & Customer Experience, US Organization. This individual will report directly into an Executive Director, Marketing Strategy, partnering closely with this Lead, along with other members of the marketing strategy team, Customer Experience Planning and Optimization (CXPO) Team, and other strategic partners, to ensure that the Patient Marketing Strategy and concepts are effectively orchestrated into patient-centric campaigns, tactics and experiences. The Marketer identifies, tests, and validates patient creative concepts and messaging architecture, and creates the lead asset for patients, including the patient brochure and/or TV ad (brand dependent). The Marketer will be responsible for leading best-in-class patient strategy and execution, including clearly defining strategy for each channel, defining and tracking KPIs, delivering channel-specific creative that embeds best practices and cuts through the market noise, and routinely optimizing to deliver against the brand and customer experience objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work effectively with the ED Marketing Strategy SPOC and HCP Marketer to develop a cohesive and integrated brand marketing strategy and campaign grounded in customer insight for growth brands
• Establish brand-specific Patient domain expertise, and create engaging brand centered content and concepts for adaption into personalized and tailored experiences
• Identify, share and embed knowledge on industry standards across the Marketers to engage Patients, change behavior across the full brand lifecycle, improve impact and create communities of practice on effective and impactful patient marketing.
• Implement best in class digital marketing strategies that align to brand goals and im-prove business results.
• Ensure digital plans are efficiently implemented and optimized.
• Cultivate a successful team that proactively and effectively interfaces across key functions to achieve the product strategies and objectives
• Support and deliver the Patient integrated plan for the brand to achieve the Product strategy and objectives; define resourcing required and managing the allocated budget for Patient, collaborating effectively across strategic partners including PSS and Communications and Advocacy
• Drive excellence in developing the lead asset for Patient (e.g., patient brochure/TV ad) through domain expertise to enable adaptation across the end-end experience, part-nering closely with the Customer Experience Planning and Optimization team
• Provide business requirements and input into selecting the agency (AoR) for brand marketing (Patient) and partner with Operations to enhance agency relationship(s)
• Collaborate with Product and Global teams on integrated plan and lead asset(s), as appropriate
This position will be located at the East Hanover, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require up to 30% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/ or international). Please note that this role would not provide relocation and only local candidates will be considered.
Role Requirements What You'll Bring to the Role:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
Essential Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial Marketing with multi-functional experience in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience of using data, analytics, and customer insights to drive personalization at scale in the US Market
• Experience supporting a new function
• Experience in supporting strong brands in highly competitive categories within the US; recent launch experience for blockbuster specialty treatments preferred
• Transformational Leader with strategic experiences to transform the business into next generation engagement
• Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to collaborate effectively with various partners and teams including Product, Communications, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance and Global
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and team members
• Diligent with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines
Desirable Requirements:
• Master of Science and/or MBA preferred

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $158,400 and $237,600/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
