** OPPORTUNITY TO EARN UP TO $720 WEEKLY**
I.K. Hofmann USA has an opportunity available working with a opto-electronics company in Duluth, GA as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk.
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing daily deliveries, order fulfillment, packaging, receiving and shipment duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the packaging within the shipping system, daily component packaging, and customer order filling within the delivery and packing system.
• Schedules orders and ensures accuracy of packaging products.
• Completes daily inbound receiving of products and packages and notifies recipients accordingly.
• Coordinates and provides support with employees and/or other departments to resolve shipping and packaging issues.
• Follows up, monitors, and ensures SOP (Standard Operation Procedures) are adhered to.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
• Weekly inventory cycle counts
• Products must be checked for damage and counted for accuracy against the delivery note.
• Inventory is then organized and placed into inventory or reviewed for shipment to the customer.
• Responsible for pulling and picking from the warehouse off a printed pick list and manages deliveries. Packs product according to
established procedures. All packages will have the proper paperwork attached and double checked for accuracy. Boxes will be staged in a shipping area, ready for common carriers.
• Performs light assembly as needed.
• Other support as determined by Operations Manager
COMPETENCIES:
• Good understanding of basic/fundamental warehouse shipping and receiving procedures.
• Experience in SAP, FedEx ship manager and UPS WorldShip systems is preferred.
• Computer skills are preferred (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Teams).
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
? Minimum of 1 to 3 years of warehouse experience
? Minimum of 1 year of related warehouse experience within the consistent areas of material handling, shipping and receiving, distribution, and/or operations.
? High School Diploma or Associates degree with Supply Chain experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and work independently.
• Ability to perform within a changing workload and/or priorities and meet order schedules with quality results.
• Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment, and willingness to motivate and support other’s
• Ability to lift to fifty pounds.
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to do light assembly.
