The Opportunity

The Training Development Specialist is responsible for the management, design, development and implementation of university wide EHS training programs for the Ithaca campus. This position provides guidance and information to EHS subject matter experts in the development of training content into both in-person and online health and safety training. The Training Development Specialist is responsible for managing online training courses and materials for EHS and facilitating these activities in the broader FCS organization. The incumbent will be responsible for the technical aspects of configuring courses to run appropriately in our Learning Management System (LMS) and configuration of our askEHS inquiry portal and ensuring the smooth operation of these programs. The Training Development Specialist shall represent EHS and demonstrate excellent customer service.
