Job description

Join Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio at the North Canton Outlet Store.

We are hiring a part-time Material Handler to move and sort donated materials and salvage commodities on/off trucks and put them in their designated location within the store. You will assist in all areas of the salvage sorting process and cross-train to learn other outlet functions. You will also provide excellent customer service to donors, shoppers, and vendors.

As part of the Goodwill team, you can make a difference. You will become part of a team that helps fund outreach programs for people in need in your local community. These services include pre-employment, job placement, family strengthening, and community outreach services. Plus, you will help Goodwill keep tons of garbage out of landfills each year!

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including but not limited to constant standing, constant bilateral reach, and handling ability; constant fingering and pinch grip; requires the consta nt ability to lift/carry up to 150 lbs.; may require constant shoulder height reaching with either hand and firm grasp; frequent bending; may squat; requires the frequent ability to push/pull less than 150-200 lbs.
