Job description
As a software engineer on our team, you’ll work with SMEs, Architects and domain experts etc.to overcome your customer’s most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like microservices, pub/sub, domain driven design etc. alongside open source frameworks and tools like Python, JAVA etc. You’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques, while helping to identify and implement system improvements. Using Agile lifecycle development, coding languages, platforms. you’ll build and support GEOINT Processing applications software. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re is developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience with system architecture and engineering involving the integration of COTS, GOTS, and FOSS software solutions
- 2+ years of experience with managing requirements and in an Agile development environment through tools including JIRA
- Experience with designing and implementing development, test, and production environments
- Knowledge of cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with providing technical guidance to IT development teams
- Knowledge of current technology trends potentially for the application of current and emerging technology solutions to meet customer requirements
- Possession of excellent team leadership, development, and client relationship skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
