YOUR DAY TO DAY AS A SOCIAL SERVICES DIRECT CARE STAFF

In this role, you will work directly in the homes of our participants, providing support with cleaning, cooking, and personal care. But it's not just about the tasks - you'll also play a vital role in helping people build their independence and confidence within their own home , encourage them to explore their local community, and empower them to experience new adventures and create meaningful connections. We are currently seeking someone who is willing to work weekends and overnight shifts with members of our community!

This position earns a starting rate of $18.00 per hour, plus two incentives of $625 each after completing two brief online trainings (a total of $1250 in extra pay before taxes)! Earn a $0.50 per hour pay increase after completing a six-month development and performance program! To thrive in this social services role, there are a few key skills that are necessary for success : strong communication and interpersonal skills, a high level of trustworthiness and integrity , a solid work history , and references that can attest to your dependability and reliability .

Y ou will need to have a car in safe working order, vehicle insurance, a valid CA driver's license, at least 2 years of driving experience , and the ability to pass a background check .
