Job description
Furnace Operator - Afternoon or Midnight Shift
Job Description: - The primary function of furnace operator is to load material into continuous pusher style furnaces and also remove the material that comes out of the furnace.
- Once the material is out an evaluation of the electrical properties of the material must be conducted.
- Department: Production.
- Midnight Shift (11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and follow assignments through to completion.
- Effective time management skills.
- Conscientiousness, punctuality, and dependability are essential.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Salary/Benefits:
- Rate: $19 per hour.
- Shift Differential: $4 per hour.
