DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
We are an OB/GYN practice with a multidisciplinary team consisting of MD's, Midwives and Nurse Practitioners, caring for a diverse population with OB and GYN needs in the ambulatory setting which consist of several OB/GYN sites located in Cambridge, Somerville and Revere. We provide care to women of all ages in a culturally competent environment. The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the clinical team allowing for delivery of effective and safe care to our patients and families.
Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for planning and providing patient care for patients in accordance with established Nursing Standards of Care. He/she demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for the patient with complex needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and is directly reports to a designated nurse manager and/or clinical manager / off shift manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Licensure: MA. RN Licensure required
Certifications: Maintains current Basic Life Support "C" certification
OBGYN or Ambulatory experience required
