Job Posting: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - SNF

Location: Brooklyn, New York

Start Date: March 18, 2024

Hours Per Week: 22.50

Hours Per Day: 8.00

Days Per Week: 3.00

Shift Time: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Schedule Notes: Must work every other weekend

Duties:
Under the direct supervision of a licensed Nurse or other professional medical staff in a healthcare setting, the Certified Nursing Assistant performs a variety of clerical and health-related duties associated with patient care. Examples of typical tasks include:

1. Assisting with physical care of selected patients.
2. Performing assigned procedures such as changing dressings, taking vital signs, and giving enemas.
3. Recording personal care given and observations of patients' conditions.
4. Participating in nursing and interdisciplinary health team conferences.
5. Assisting in recreational, remotivational, and resocialization activities.
6. Setting up and arranging examining rooms.
7. Assisting with admission procedures and regulation of visitors.
8. Providing postmortem care, among other responsibilities.

Skills Required:

• 1 year of Nursing Home experience

Education:

• Graduate of an approved CNA program
• NYS CNA Certification (required)
• Primary Source Verification (required)
• AHA BLS (required)

Certifications & Licenses:

• BLS
• CNA Certification
