Looking for experienced automation lead (ideally someone who worked in org wide Automation Support team / in Quality CoE (Quality Centers of Excellence team) who has mainly worked on designing and creating UI/API/Mobile automation frameworks; and is an experienced automation engineer; supported in troubleshooting automation issues/tickets and resolved them for unblocking automation engineers/teams. Key Responsibilities:
- As a Staff Quality CoE Engineer, should be able to drive automation effort across the org for designing and creating UI, API and Mobile frameworks
by incorporating industry best practices - Support application teams' automation engineers for ongoing and new UI, API, and mobile automation effort as needed
- Be able to troubleshoot automation blocker issues and ensure necessary support is extended to unblock
automation engineers. - Mentor, and coach automation and Quality Engineers across organization to adopt and use best-in-class test
automation practices and tools. - Collaborate with QA, Automation Engineers, developers and Engineering team members on a regular basis to
ensure org wide automation progress. - Support continuous development and maintenance of application automation scripts for ensuring CI/CD pipeline
integration in all QA, Staging and production environments. - Be able to prioritize, estimate plan all Quality CoE and specifically automation testing efforts and related project
work. - Document, maintain Quality CoE and automation tools and best practices related artifacts.
Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience - 8+ years of professional software UI, API and Mobile automation experience
- Expertise in using Automation and SDLC Tools - Selenium, Postman, RestAssured, Katalon, Java, knowledge
of Mabl is a PLUS, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub - Experience is managing quality related efforts within an Agile based software development methodology.
- Ability to deploy and configure various systems, tools and applications for development and testing purposes.
- Experience in developing software applications and/or QA Tools is a PLUS
- Strong communication and collaboration skills - ability to work with Software Quality and Automation
Engineers, Developers, Scrum Masters and Project Managers to deliver solutions and capabilities that exceed, expectations. - A strong Quality Engineer/Lead who could mentor team members, a problem solver, have ability to quickly
learn new technologies, find opportunities for improvement and tackle them without external direction. - Strong personal accountability, and ownership is required as a high achieving Quality CoE Engineer.
