Job Description

The Registered Nurse, Supervisor serves as a leader responsible for administering, planning and coordinating all nursing functions to ensure compliance to Sansum Clinic's standards of practice and the accomplishment of established objectives. Responsible for the achievement of patient outcomes through implementation of critical pathways. They supervise all functions related to the daily nursing operations of assigned departments. Supervises and delegates staff work assignments. They will also assess the learning needs of the clinical staff, coordinate educational programs with the clinical director, and assist in training staff appropriately. Develops patient education as necessary.

Schedule: 3 x 12 shifts per week

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. Current state licensure as registered nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or dually certified in both AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support and AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Computer proficiency

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Some supervisory experience
• Experience with electronic medical records
