Are you passionate about helping employees and managers navigate complex HR issues? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a talent for providing expert guidance on employee relations matters? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as an Employee Relations Rep 2. As part of our Employee Relations Center of Excellence, you will play a critical role in providing timely, consistent, and effective HR advice to our HR Business Partners, Managers, and Employees. You will be responsible for investigating complaints, providing coaching and policy interpretation, and making recommendations for corrective or disciplinary actions. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

•  Coaches and advises managers on the handling of performance issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions (including documentation and legal review), and participates in the creation of performance improvement plans. Monitors company disciplinary actions to ensure the consistent and fair application of company policies and procedures.
•  Coaches and advises managers on the company's employment termination process. Partners with internal and external legal counsel as appropriate.
•  Performs investigations related to employee complaints, including harassment/discrimination allegations, policy and procedure violations, and compliance complaints. Makes recommendations on next steps and appropriate discipline; supports the ER COE Manager in high level investigations when required. Partners with internal and external legal counsel as appropriate.
•  Responds to "judgment related" queries from HRBPs, managers and employees to educate both on policy intent, interpretation and explanation.
•  Provides coaching to HRBPs and people managers on how to create and deliver Performance Assessment feedback results to employees.
•  Provides consistent methods, practices and procedures to ensure fairness to employees, adherence to company policies and legal defensibility.
•  Participates in HR projects, processes and functions that involve human resources and client group leadership.
•  Partners with corporate Disability Management department on issues related to Workers' Compensation, job accommodation, medical leave, and return to work cases.
•  Analyzes employee relations trends, identifies root causes, and recommends appropriate and creative resolutions. Drives continuous improvement on Employee Relations policies, practices and the way services are performed.
•  Analyzes exit date to determine reasons and trends behind separations.
•  Conducts training that informs employees on the company's employee relations policies, i.e., Progressive Discipline, Harassment and Discrimination, Wage and Hour compliance.
•  Establishes and develops relationships with HR Business Partners and other HR COE leaders to stay abreast of future business challenges and proactively identify issues for managing/avoiding employee relations issues.
•  Ensures leader and employee understanding of department and corporate policies.
•  Provides support in rolling-out HR initiatives, programs and policies.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

•  High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
•  Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of human resources experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include experience with employee relations; or 6 years of human resources experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include experience with employee relations.
•  Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
•  Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
•  Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART:

•  Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of human resources experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include at least 3 years of experience with employee relations.
•  Experience conducting employee relations investigations, including employee and witness interviews, writing investigation reports of the investigation based on analysis of investigation findings. Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting the most complex documents.
•  Experience responding effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

Compensation

•  Hiring Salary Range Posted: $81,000 -$121,600
•  Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
