Job description
Taqueria El Pueblito Llc in Tucson, AZ is looking for a restaurant cashier to join our team. We are located on 1800 E Fort Lowell Rd Suite A156. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, attentive, punctual, reliable, responsible, and hard-working team player.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers entering and leaving the business and make them feel at home.
- Take customer orders, answer any questions they may have and provide suggestions as needed.
- Respond to all complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area and safe environment.
- Accurately process all cash and credit payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform other prep and cleaning tasks among other duties.
- Pack food orders, restock stations, etc.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service.
- Friendly attitude even when dealing with disgruntled colleagues and clientele.
- Highly adaptable to various situations and customer needs.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Excellent multitasking and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
- Ability to work with flexibility in a continuous schedule of days, holidays and weekends.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Ability to problem solve quickly concerns customers may have.
- Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture.
