Department Description
Allica has a modern product function, based around empowered and autonomous product squads. Alongside product specialists, each squad includes colleagues from functions such as engineering, design, marketing and testing. Our product development is fast-paced and collaborative.
We are rare amongst banks in that our senior leadership team have backgrounds at world-leading Fintechs, which shows in their active engagement with our product squad updates, and in our bank-wide adoption of modern tools & techniques such as Scrum/Kanban and Jira.
Because we are working on one of the last untapped Fintech opportunities, it often means that we're often working on entirely new product or technological challenges. No two days are ever the same.
Role Description
As a Lending Propositions Manager you will be leading on the development of new lending propositions focused on the SME segment. In partnership with the Product Owner, you will be responsible for building out the proposition roadmap, including identifying new opportunities, and opportunities to expand our existing product set. Importantly you will manage the end-to-end implementation of new propositions, from concept through to pilot through to full go-live.
This role requires the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders including Distribution, Underwriting, Operations to develop the proposition and to ensure that risks are identified and mitigated.
You will be highly commercial, with an ability to think outside the box and to incorporate data from a number of sources. A proactive mindset to drive the proposition forward from concept to a multi-million pound channel is key.
