Responsibilities

Job Summary: Under the oversight of the Care Advocate Director, this individual will be accountable for the performance of all  Part D STARs measures (MAD, MAH, MAC, etc.) for the entire Medicare Advantage book of business, including the Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans, and other relevant lines of business. Will foster a culture of accountability, emphasizing people and performance management, coaching and development, and employee engagement. This individual will develop and execute strategic improvement initiatives and oversee all internal and external activities and processes for medication adherence STARs measures. This individual will oversee the outreach team’s medication adherence process and will provide effective leadership, training, tools, and reporting. This individual will supervise other staff as needed to achieve the above objectives. This individual will possess strong project management, data management, analytics, and leadership skills. This individual will also possess deep knowledge of the technical specifications published by the relevant regulatory agencies as well as market-specific dynamics related to the relevant measures.

Qualifications and Regulatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration or other related field. (preferred but not required)
• Minimum of three years (preferred but not required) of prior managed care/ Medicare Advantage experience related to STARs/Quality improvement activities
• Minimum of five years of retail pharmacy operations experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in project management and accountability to performance metrics
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Organized, able to meet deadlines and versed in project management
• Able to collaborate across department and with external partners including the provider groups
• Passion for improvement member experience and outcomes
• Experienced in analyzing large sets of data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite with proficient skills in Excel.
• Experienced in healthcare, preferably in a managed care setting
• Preferred experience working with medical records, clinical settings, and familiar with Medicare risk adjustment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships.
