As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you’ll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). You’ll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. In this highly visible role as part of the technology team, you will be at the center of SOC design effort interfacing with design teams and providing technology support, with a critical impact on getting functional products to millions of customers quickly.
Key Qualifications
- We are looking for applicants with at least 10 years of experience in advanced process technology development or related areas.
- Solid understanding of deep sub-micron processes, device physics, process integration, IC design and test.
- Familiarity in transistor-level circuit design.
- Excellent data analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- People management skills and managerial experience is highly desired.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience in success of delivering new designs to production under a very aggressive schedule.
- Self-motivated and schedule oriented is a big plus.

- Review and analyze foundry DRM/DRC collateral for accuracy and completeness.
- Define internal design rules and recommendations to design teams.
- Work with design teams in optimizing for foundry processes for best performance, power and area.
- Drive design methodology working with design teams, including DFM and DFY activities.
- Engage parties in decision making and drive to timely closure and thorough follow-through
Education & Experience
A minimum requirement of a BS and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
