Responsibilities
● Craft web application software using NextJS and REACT, with strong software development fundamentals and strong design principles (object oriented or functional)
● Work with a team of engineers building software in a collaborative development process, without being dogmatic about technology choices
● Participate in the full-lifecycle of software development (requirements gathering, designing, building, testing and maintenance)
● Take on leadership as needed, by being both a strong independent contributor, and supporting your teammates
● Design and build RESTful web services that make use of relational and/or NoSQL DBs
● Build automated testing at different levels (unit, integration, functional) and build resilient applications that handle failure gracefully
Basic Qualification
● Bachelor or above in Computer Science or another comparable field of study or equivalent work experience
● Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, delivering high- quality code
● Minimum of 2 years experience delivering Single Page Web Apps using NextJS or React with automated testing.
● You have functional experience with AWS services (ECS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda, etc.) or other cloud providers
Preferred qualification
● Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
● You're an expert in REST API semantics and idiosyncrasies
● Experience designing for highly visited sites and complex caching

The hiring range for this position in Bristol is $136,100 – $182,400 per year, in Glendale is $136,100 – $182,400 per year, Seattle is $142,600 – $191,100 per year and New York is $142,600 – $191,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job tags
