Job description
We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Canada. Please find the detailed job description below. This position provides full-time employment with remote work, though candidates must reside within Canadian borders.
In this position, we are looking for an individual who can advocate for developer needs by addressing technical support tickets, developing onboarding materials including training and documentation, and conducting quarterly analyses on incoming tickets. As we enhance our knowledge management portal and collaborate closely with partner platform teams to align with their requirements, this role will play a vital part in expanding our support model and empowering our developer community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a DevOps or Developer Relations role.
Strong knowledge of software development, deployment, and support processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive continuous improvement.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and partner platform teams.
Hands-on scripting experience with Python .
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS , Azure , or GCP .
Experience with continuous integration/delivery (CI/C D) tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker .
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes .
Experience with observability practices, tooling, and solutions, including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, and NewRelic .
