Responsibilities

The O365 Administrator's role is to manage Office 365 services, applications, and tools, including Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint online to ensure high-availability and security for the support business applications. This individual also takes part in the planning and implementing of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning, ongoing maintenance, and security are consistent with organization goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the IT team, non-IT departments, and project stakeholders to ensure the Office365 environment is optimized for performance, reliability, security, and user satisfaction. * Stays up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization's Office365 environment remains current and competitive.
* Demonstrates advanced analytical, seasoned troubleshooting skills,
* Has strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask,
* Has excellent written and oral communication skills, and
* You need to be able to work towards a deadline independently and with minimal oversight.

The Work:
* The O365 Administrator will be the main point of contact for technical and support issues related to Office 365 administration. Resolve assigned cases/tickets, change requests, and acts as an escalation point for support issues.
* Monitor and respond to issues or service requests reported to the Service Desk and create and resolve problem tickets for service issues (in ServiceNow)
* Pro-actively participate in escalated issue resolution for Office365 applications, tools, features, etc.
* Must be a self-starter and can work independently as well as within a tightly formed team
* Aid in the development of long-term strategic goals for the enterprise messaging and collaboration environment to include Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and other Microsoft services.
* Assist with the design and development of Office365 specific security policies, standards, and procedures - e.g. auditing and monitoring, security incident and event management, data protection, user and administrator account management, and conditional access controls.
* Provide advice and training to peers on various O365 applications and technologies.
* Write and support custom scripts (PowerShell) to remediate issues and automate tasks as well as to support reporting, licensing, and troubleshooting Office365 and on premises AD, Exchange, and SharePoint deployments.
* Adhere to technical policies, standards, best practices, and organization's Change Management procedures.
* Ensure quality standards are met for engineered solutions and promote continuous improvement across the entire Office365 platform.

* Identify technology enhancements that would improve overall user experience and feature offerings
* Provide and maintain clear, concise, and customized documentation that is appropriate for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Work on assigned projects and complete within timetable established by leadership
* Pro-actively identify and successfully troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner, provide leadership updates on problem resolution, and provide progress report to customers and management on a regular basis.

The successful candidate will understand the needs of the business in the short, medium and long-term and is able to assist in defining an architectural "roadmap" for overall development, while aligning the "roadmap" with business requirements and fostering strategic innovation.
