The IT/OT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and coaching the team members responsible for the IT and OT infrastructure that supports the business and manufacturing operations in a mid-sized organization. In concert with the VP of IT determine the most efficient and cost-effective technology to support a complex manufacturing IT environment. This position is both a manager and an individual contributor.
The IT Infrastructure Manager makes an impact by -
Develops Cost Saving Solutions:
- Consistently searches out opportunities to minimize the cost of IT/OT Infrastructure to the organization.
- Negotiates contracts for the benefit of THD.
- Implements Infrastructure solutions that automate processes and minimize human intervention.
- Balances between internal and external resources to minimize IT/OT infrastructure cost structure.
Drives Positive Infrastructure Change:
- Manages projects with a focus to minimize potential outages.
- Lives by the adage "measure twice and cut once".
- Develops accurate and detailed documentation for all infrastructure areas, applications, and hardware.
Security:
- Has a security mindset in all projects and functions the team undertakes or manages.
- Fine tunes the DR plan and directs the yearly testing.
- Directs the vulnerability, pen, and security testing, and resolves any issues.
Team Building:
- Champions an environment that supports effective teamwork by facilitating constructive resolution of conflict and encouraging cooperation and collaboration among the business and IT teams.
- Coach, mentor, and train team members.
- Cross train team members for effective coverage.
- Be accountable and hold others accountable.
- Identifies and manages team metrics.
Relationship Management:
- Builds and manages partnerships with key external vendors, internal business partners, and project stakeholders.
General:
- Conforms to regulatory compliance related to electronic information in areas such as HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations.
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
- Demonstrates the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
- Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferable food/beverage.
- 2 to 4+ years' experience leading, managing, and coaching IT infrastructure teams.
- 3 to 5+ years' experience configuring and managing Azure infrastructure including Windows servers, Azure AD, and SQL server.
- 4 to 6+ years' hands-on experience in configuring and administering VMware, Windows servers, SQL server, VoIP, WiFi, enterprise level firewalls, switches, Active Directory, group policies, and other IT technology infrastructure.
- 2 to 4+ years of security operations experience.
- Hands on experience administering M365.
- ITIL implementation experience.
- Experience setting infrastructure team metrics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated success in leading technology-related change in a growing organization.
