Position Description:
Looking for a highly motivated professional to join the Division of Habitat & Species Conservation Human Resource team. The Division of Habitat & Species Conservation is comprised of six Sections and two offices. This position will assist with Human resource management and work closely with the Agency Human Resource Office.This position will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support.

The duties include but not limited to:

Working as part of the Division of Habitat & Species Conservation Human Resources team the incumbent will assist with time sheet reminders. Provide assistance with FTE and OPS time sheets inquiries. Assist with basic attendance and leave questions. Is responsible for scanning documents into electronic personnel file utilizing Laserfiche Data Storage. Scanning and uploading FTE position descriptions in the Division library folder. Provides assistance as needed with position descriptions inquiries. Responsible for providing assistance with the Division veterans’ preference review form. Assist with veterans’ preference notifications for missing documentation. Track veteran’s preference correspondence and provide frequent updates. Responsible for research and mailing of Agency service letters and awards. Assist with public record request and tracking public record request assignments.

As part of the Division of Habitat & Species Conservation Director’s Office team the incumbent will provide clerical support including copying and collating documents and sorting and distribution of Division incoming mail. Incumbent will serve as back up for answering incoming calls providing basic information to callers when necessary or routing calls to appropriate staff.

Performs other duties as assigned.

OPS Employment – This is a full-time OPS (Other Personnel Services) position. OPS employees are paid for the number of hours they work. OPS employees do not receive paid leave, or paid holidays. OPS staff have the potential for health insurance benefits and participation in the Deferred Compensation investment retirement program.
