Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Detroit/Ann Arbor Metro, MI
Salary: $75k-$85k
Requirements: Excel, Financial Reporting/Budgeting

We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our world class manufacturing organization. This position requires advanced Excel skills and the ability to generate accurate and regular financial reports in our accounting department. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and strong finance + data analysis background.

What You Will Be Doing

- In depth financial analysis supporting decision making: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling.
- Collect, validate, and maintain financial data ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Generate and distribute regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Assist in development and maintenance of annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.
- Analyze cost structures, pricing strategies, cost-saving opportunities to enhance profitability.
- Evaluate financial risks, recommend strategies to mitigate those risks
- Use advanced Excel functions and tools to manipulate and analyze large datasets (pivot tables, etc)

What You Need for this Position

- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related
- 2+ years relevant work experience in financial analysis or related
- Strong analytical and problem -solving skills, attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
