Job Description:

United Health System is seeking a highly qualified RN Med Surg to join our dynamic team in Glendale, AZ.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing Patients: Conducting thorough assessments of patients to understand their medical needs and conditions.

• Planning Care: Developing comprehensive care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment.

• Implementing Care: Administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.

• Evaluating Patient Progress: Monitoring and evaluating patient responses to treatments and adjusting care plans accordingly.

• Educating Patients: Providing patients and their families with information on treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.

• Collaborating with Healthcare Team: Working closely with doctors, surgeons, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.

• Maintaining Records: Keeping detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, care plans, and progress.

Qualifications:

• No candidates with an AZ home address on their drivers license will be considered - please include a copy in submission
• Minimum 2 years of current Cardiac Med Surg experience - REQUIRED
• Certifications must be American Heart Association OR American Red Cross and active upon and INCLUDED IN SUBMISSION - REQUIRED
• No Nursys Hits - REQUIRED
• Banner will not approve RTO within the first two weeks or holidays. Can not exceed 7 days.
• FLU vaccination - REQUIRED **Please add vaccination status in the submission notes**

Salary: $54.00 - $58.00 per hour

• 3x12
• Weekends as needed
