Responsibilities
- Review and understand the needs and complexities of the installation at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled installation.
- Meet with the specifier of the furniture project to review the installation at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled installation.
- Walk the customer through the installation to review the work performed and obtain customer sign off for the work completed.
- Order any additional parts needed to complete the installation.
- Schedule the follow-up trip required to complete the installation.
- Perform pre-trip check of vehicles, trailers, and cargo to ensure safety and orderliness.
- Make punctual and courteous deliveries to customers, collect signatures, or money on COD tickets.
- After placing furniture, shine, clean, and adjust for customer.
- Answer questions about repairs or adjustments.
- Return any furniture to warehouse for staging or restock.
- Perform general yard work, maintenance and repair, and janitorial work as needed.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or training required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Basic mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning ability: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Montana Drivers License.
- Certified Installation for Haworth, Kimball and Knoll products preferred.
