Job description
The recruiting specialist will execute the recruiting process from talent sourcing, engaging candidates to successfully transition them to the hiring manager for the final hiring stages. In this role, you will collaborate with managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. This role will provide insight and direction to the hiring managers, executives, and other team members by understanding their hiring needs, current market trends and attracting the right people to continue driving the success of the business.
Essential Functions
- First response to candidates who apply to the location ads – engages candidate, conducts screen and schedules for in-person hands-on practical evaluation
· Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks and through referrals
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
- Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until they are transitioned to location
- Administer recruitment tasks using recruitment platform/system including posting jobs
- Provides in location support for new managers, managers on PTO or when needed
· Attends (potentially hosts) job fairs in region
- Establishes, and maintains actively drives progress in school relationships in region
- Input activity into CRM-like tracking system to measure productivity and success
- Track recruitment KPIs, like time to hire, source of hire and time to fill
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a corporate, internal recruiter, general recruiter or similar role
- Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting / talent acquisition
- Experience in applicant tracking systems and resume databases
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple responsibilities concurrently and respond to rapidly changing priorities
- Strong organizational skills and follow through
- Ability to think critically, logically and creatively
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be self-managed person that can work on a variety of responsibilities with a diverse team with minimal direction or oversight
- Proficiency and familiarity with Outlook, Word and Excel
- Continuously pursues additional Recruiting knowledge to assist in growth within the position
- Provide other general recruiting support as needed
