Full time, Monday through Friday - 8:45 am - 5:45 pm

Responsibilities:

Manages the Collections department and maintains an open line of communication with the VP of Compliance on any pertinent items. Responsible for hiring employees, annual reviews, scheduling, training and monitoring the work of other collectors. Acts as the secondary point of escalation for Collections department. Helps with member's needs, questions and concerns. Preserve the credit union's assets by controlling delinquent accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments, and recovering collateral. Other duties consist of contacting delinquent accounts by phone and mail and take appropriate action to bring current. Analyze financial situation of delinquent borrowers and take action to repossess collateral if necessary. Testify at legal proceedings as required and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience and knowledge of bankruptcies, small claims, and repossessions preferred but not required.
• 1 year of management experience preferred but not required.
