Proposal Manager Summary:

The Proposal Manager will be responsible for the development and final submittal of proposals aimed at acquiring new business. This position will report to the VP of Business Development while also taking direction from members of Envita's Commercial Team. This role will work alongside other departments such as Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to collaborate on pricing and overall commercial strategy.

How You'll Make an Impact:

· Ensure health & safety is the number one priority by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.

· Collaborate with Commercial Team to execute on Envita's overall growth strategy.

· Proactively build productive, trusting, collaborative working relationships internal and external stakeholders.

· Manage the proposal process while leveraging internal stakeholders to complete RFP's, RFQ's, and RFI's.

· Oversee all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compliance, and that bids are submitted on time.

· Guide the proposal budgeting process for new business opportunities and follow-up on programs to meet request for proposal (RFP) requirements.

· Communicate directly with Envita supplier-partners regarding pricing and service capabilities.

· Populate bid sheets with assistance from Supply Chain team.

· Support the development of customer facing presentations.

· Occasionally attend bid walks in support of Commercial activity.

· Act as point of contact for both internal and external communications during bid processes.

· Manage various customer portals associated with online bids.

· Utilize all aspects of Envita's Contract Playbook to successfully attain new business.

· Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team to utilize marketing, data, tools, etc. to support sales and drive sustainable growth.

· Manage the process flow of opportunities in Salesforce.

· Maintain, manage, and execute standardized and repeatable proposal processes and best practices.

· Represent Envita through alignment in company values and a culture built on integrity, trust, and respect.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

· High school diploma or its equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

· Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in preparing business proposals.

· Waste management, sustainability, or similar industry is preferred and beneficial.

· Ability to write business proposals with strong business acumen.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· High attention to detail required.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

· Ability to work remotely with high productivity.

· Ability to problem solve and use critical thinking skills.

· Must be able to visit corporate headquarters, at least monthly, for strategy sessions.

· Effective verbal and written communication abilities with strong follow up skills.

· Ability to establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs.

· Must possess sound critical thinking, problem solving, and business judgement.

· Must be a team player with a strong ability to work effectively across various departments with the organization.

· Ability to occasionally travel for customer and/or internal needs.
