Overview:
At EIM, we are reimagining healthcare education to humanize patient care in every community. We offer accessible lifelong learning to healthcare professionals transforming their communities and we are looking to add a Full-time Placement Specialist. The Placement Specialist will play a pivotal role in the success of EIMs mission. The person in this position will work closely with internal departments, clinic sites, and the University Partners (UP). The ideal candidate will help foster successful clinical education experiences for EIM UP students.

Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to the following)
- Coordinate with University partner (UP) clinical placement teams to develop new clinic sites, maintain
communication with current sites, and keep clinic site information up-to-date in the Exxat
system. - Build and maintain positive relationships with key personnel using effective virtual meetings,
email and phone communication - Team with UPs to locate clinic sites in specific geographic regions as needed
- Working closely with UP clinical education teams, coordinate student-placements needed for
each clinical education experience and submit required paperwork to clinical facilities for
students' participation on a timely basis; input pertinent placement data in the Exxat system - Work with UP clinical education teams to facilitate student-site interviews and track results
using the Exxat platform - Communicates with professionals in hospitals and clinics to coordinate clinical placements via
Exxat, email, online application, phone and/or in-person - Research, identify and track all facility requirements at each clinical placement site and record
facility requirements in Exxat system for all UPs - Communicate confirmed or changed clinical placement agreements with EIM Clinical
Education Systems Manager, UP Directors of Clinical Education and UP Clinical Education Administrative Coordinators - Monitor affiliation agreements with clinical facilities to ensure they are current
- Maintain HIPAA & FERPA standards
- Participate in meetings with UPs as required
Qualifications:
Education
College Degree or 3-5 yrs of relevant experience
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated skills of organization, data management administrative experience
across technology, healthcare or education sectors - Understanding of clinical placements in healthcare education
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse multi-cultural environment
- Experience with regulatory and/or accreditation policies preferred
- Excellent organizational, time management, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to lead by influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix
organization - Self-starter who is able to work independently
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to communicate to effectively with all levels of stakeholders
