Qualifications for the Casino Director of Finance:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; an MBA is advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Director of Finance within a casino setting
- Proficiency in managing, monitoring, and ensuring optimal cash flow
- Ability to grasp the broader financial landscape and the pivotal role Finance plays
Responsibilities of the Casino Director of Finance:
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Handle all tax payments and filings
- Facilitate year-end external audits
- Maintain open communication channels with ownership, management, and on-site leadership
- Ensure seamless execution of payroll processes
- Supervise the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting processes
- Review, authorize, and finalize all balance sheet reconciliations
- Offer financial counsel to the General Manager, Tribal Counsel, and the executive team
