Job description
The Programmer Engineer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer software and hardware for electrical engineering applications. The successful candidate will also work closely with a team of engineers to develop and implement electrical projects.
Position Overview:
- Develop and maintain software and hardware for electrical engineering applications
- Assist team of engineers to develop and implement electrical projects
- Troubleshoot and debug software and hardware errors
- Create and edit electrical diagrams, schematics, and layouts
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical engineering applications using PLC programming
- Create and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and other related documents
- Create and edit layouts, diagrams, and schematics for HVAC systems
- Create Auto-CAD drawings for electrical projects
- Develop software applications based on ASHRAE and NEC standards
- Create 3D models of electrical projects using Autodesk Inventor
- Analyze and test software applications for accuracy and performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in software and hardware development
- Expertise in PLC programming and electrical diagrams
- Proficiency in Auto-CAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Familiarity with ASHRAE and NEC standards
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
