POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Digital Marketing Specialist role is a dynamic and multifaceted position designed for a versatile professional eager to learn and engage with a spectrum of digital marketing channels. This specialist will become proficient across a diverse array of digital platforms. By seamlessly transitioning among roles, the specialist will be trained and eventually support various teams, ensuring that our digital marketing solutions deliver the highest value for our clients in multiple platforms. Responsibilities include:
Crafting and implementing versatile digital media strategies.
Collaborating closely with digital marketing and creative teams to produce multidimensional content.
Serving as a dynamic support system for different marketing channels as needed.

This is a hybrid position requiring work in-office at least two days per week.
Pay range is $27.00 - $29.00 per hour, and includes the following benefits:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Platform Proficiency : Coming to the team with basic understanding, the Digital Media Specialist will gain expertise in the use of various digital marketing platforms, including but not limited to social media channels, Google Ads, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
Data Analysis : Regularly analyze performance data to understand the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies, supporting data-driven decisions to optimize digital marketing efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with various teams, such as creative, strategy, and analytics, to ensure a cohesive approach to digital marketing.
Client Communication : Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders to understand their goals, report on progress, and manage expectations.
Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices, attending workshops and training sessions as necessary.
Email Marketing, SEO & SEM : With basic knowledge on these areas, this specialist will be trained on implementing and manage marketing activities, including keyword research, email set up and content optimization as needed.
COMPETENCIES (knowledge and skills needed for this position):
Strong verbal and written skills
Experience creating and sending email campaigns for various business goals
Basic understanding of SEO, SEM and email marketing
Basic knowledge of Google Analytics
Excellent customer-service skills
Strong organizational skills necessary
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, to embrace change and to adapt accordingly
Ability to work on multiple programs, initiatives, and tasks in a constantly changing and nuanced environment
Familiarity with digital tools and platforms and how they are used for marketing
Bonus: Certifications on Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Email Marketing. Basic knowledge on Wordpress or any email marketing platform.
DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or equivalent
2-3 years’ experience in social media marketing
Experience using email marketing software
Familiar with Adobe Suite or other design software
Experience making basic website updates in WordPress
Experience working with clients in an agency setting
