We are seeking a sales professional with a track record of driving success at large accounts, to join an enterprise account team in Portland, Oregon area. As an
Executive Account Manager , this individual will be responsible for selling the complete physical implementation portfolios of Synopsys EDA tools and driving technical sales activities to obtain revenue and booking goals. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to act as a principal capable of defining growth campaigns at Intel Portland site and then marshaling resources in Synopsys Business Units (R&D, Marketing and Field Support) and aligning them to a winning strategy to achieve the defined Go to Market (GTM) and company objectives. Key activities will include interfacing with customer stakeholders and discovering high-value opportunities, co-managing of technical campaigns with the field AC leaders to ensure success and providing input to the enterprise account sales team leader on strategy and account planning.
Job Responsibilities and Activities: - Drive sales to obtain revenue and booking goals by working directly and through the account sales team to build pipeline and expand usage and business growth.
- Serve as the primary technical sales contact for Synopsys' EDA SW products for an Enterprise Account, capable of marshaling resources across Synopsys Business Units (R&D, Field Support, Product Marketing), a global sales team, and aligning them to execution excellence of the account plan. The primary focus of this role will be on selling the Implementation and Verification SW product portfolio.
- Create opportunities (Including long term) to build a pipeline based on insight and knowledge of the needs of the Enterprise Customer
- Build relationships at executive, senior technical management, and key contributor levels of the Enterprise Customer
- Work in a team environment with a Strategic Account Manager, other Executive Account Managers, Field Applications Engineers and Corporate Applications Engineers to meet and exceed established sales objectives of the account team
- Account planning, project management, driving and coordinating technical resources to support an understanding of the customer’s Implementation challenges and requirements. Adjacent technology knowledge in verification and hardware helpful.
- Developing and directing complex technical sales plans, which may involve competitive displacements and business agreements, to meet or exceed pre-established quotas
- Responding to information requests and inquiries from customers, executives and global team members
- Coordinating the preparation of business proposals and working with internal organizations such as business units, legal, finance, and order processing to close business
Qualifications: - B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field required
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of technical selling experience in EDA or semiconductor sales
- A deep understanding of IC Implementation and knowledge of Verification flows and methodologies, together with knowledge of the complete sales process
- Experience working with large customers doing complex SOCs helpful
- Proximity to customer is important, willing to move is also considered
Skills: - The ability to grasp complex technical data and to communicate with a broad range of technical and non-technical people
- Strong leadership, influencing, relationship-building, and verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to multi-task, be organized and detail-oriented and effectively interact with a variety of different interpersonal styles
- Good problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Account planning, project management, forecasting, lead generation, prospecting, qualifying and delivery of sales presentations and proposals to either new or existing customers. Also, responding to information requests and inquiries from executives and global team members
- Proficient in office productivity software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $111,000.00-$194,000.00. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
