Job Summary - Perform administrative duties that might include, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry in medical records under the direct supervision of a supervisor or provider. Clinical duties will include measuring and recording vital signs, collecting demographics or medical information including review of medication list, preparing patients for examination, cleaning rooms and equipment and stocking supplies. This position will involve the administration of medications. May draw blood or perform waived testing on specimens, or initiate and participate in IV fluid administration.
Job Requirements - Education
- Required: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing or NLN approved program
- Experience
- Required: None
- Preferred: Previous nursing experience, especially in outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting
- Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
- Exhibits ability to manage time and prioritize work.
- Proficient Computer skills
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Required: Current Missouri Registered Nurse License
- Must obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire
