Onsite from our Tacoma, WA Manufacturing Plant

 

As the leader of the Maintenance Department reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the plant maintenance functions including engineering, planning, mechanical/electrical leads, technicians, and stores inventory with the purpose of increasing overall equipment availability. Maintenance Manager is also a change agent for driving continuous improvement and standardizations where needed through Hardie Manufacturing Operating System (HMOS). Incumbent will work on projects and initiatives to improve plant operational efficiencies through collaboration and partnerships with operations teams in common goals and deliverables.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

Manages, organizes, and directs plant maintenance functions by: (50%)

 

Leads the development, implementation, and sustainability of a predictive and preventative maintenance system by: (40%)

 

Manages career development and training for the Maintenance Department by: (10%)

Decision Making:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for balancing priorities, manpower, material, budget, and equipment availability to improve department and individual efficiency and performance.

Supervisory/Lead Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Manager has leadership, mentoring, and supervisory responsibility for all Maintenance Department staff.

Scope of Position:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic vision and direction to improve equipment performance and availability.

Wage Disclaimers: The expected pay range for this position is between $98,600 and $123,100. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, market conditions, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position qualifies for benefits which may also include a discretionary bonus.
