Job Title: Southern Indiana Program Manager

DSL Team: Operations

Reports to: Operations Director

Status: PT

Hours: Varied (some evening events)

Overview:

The Southern Indiana Coordinator will work closely with the operations team to plan and facilitate programs and operations at the Southern Indiana locations .

Key Accountabilities:

Create Access to Programing (Southern Indiana Families)

Member & Family Event Support

Support Engagement Director with Southern Indiana Programs & Services

Duties:

• Plan and facilitate the SoIN Academy class two days a week.
• Help facilitate Living & Learning weekly
• Plan and execute two family social events in Indiana every year with the Engagement & Communications Manager (ex. Carnival and Family Potluck)

• Attend and assist at DSL fundraising events (e.g. Gallop Gala, The Walk, and Golf Cocktail Reception)
• Assist the Developmental Interventionist at the Early Ed Playgroups hosted at the Indiana Campus held quarterly.
• Assist the School Age Manager at the School Aged Events (e.g. Saturday School or Kids Night Out) hosted at the Indiana Campus held quarterly.
• Assist in transporting Indiana members as needed (e.g. Gallop Gala, Halloween Bash, etc.)
• Have knowledge of the Indiana Waivers to assist families.

Qualifications, Certifications, Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a human services related field
• 1-3 years of related professional experience, preferably, but not limited to, work with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as, excellent telephone and customer service skills; knowledge of how to build a relationship via phone or email.
• Positive attitude, relationship-building skills, a high-level of self-motivation, goal oriented and a strong, responsible work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, to think ahead. and be a problem-solver.
