Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati, Counseling & Psychological Services (UC-CAPS) is seeking (4) four culturally sensitive and informed interns for our doctoral internship training program. We are a vibrant, interdisciplinary team of individuals who provide culturally informed therapy to our diverse body of undergraduate and graduate students. We provide both individual and group therapy, single-session consultation appointments, and outreach to our UC community. A successful candidate for our internship will have strong general therapy skills, self-awareness and self-curiosity, interest and/or experience providing culturally informed services, as well as a clear commitment to supporting students from all dimensions of diversity and intersecting identities. 

 

This is a full-time, 12 month position involving extensive training, supervision, and the provision of clinical services. Interns will participate in seminars, and will receive training in individual and group psychotherapy, crisis counseling, consultation and referral services, as well as supervision of practicum students in training within our center.
