Job description

Coor Brand & Graphic Design Location Sugar Land, TX : Description Job Overview The Coordinator of Brand and Graphic Design will provide daily coordination and execution of various internal and external communication projects; and collaborate with Communications staff, as well as, members of the Superintendent's Executive Team, District departments and campuses, on various communication materials, events and programs.

Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recognitions

Public Relations Support
  • Develop and distribute strategic public relations campaigns targeted to stakeholders, community members, and news entities
  • Manage planning, developing, and marketing efforts for the District brand that involves conceptualizing strategic initiatives and implementing details for the brand or district marketing campaigns
  • Work with Superintendent to interpret his/her vision and make it a tangible and deliverable product
  • Interact with copywriters to develop creative concepts and execution of materials printed or electronic
  • Attend planning meetings and make presentations to internal and external clients to decide the strategic and creative direction of marketing pieces or campaigns
  • Collaborate with members of the Executive Team on graphic design and deliverables for internal and external presentations
Brand Awareness
  • Develop and build awareness of the FBISD brand, creating a clear understanding of the District's mission and goals
  • Be proficient in multiple visual programs including; Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, premiere, Quark Xpress, Microsoft Office, Imovie or other video and audio editing programs
  • Manage external and internal marketing partners such as vendors, production companies, printers, copywriters and internal team members
  • Manage the brand content and manage access to brand elements
  • Maintain brand standards, usage and assist with integrating campaigns with brand consistency
  • Maintain and provide guidance on proper use of brand throughout all advertising, promotions, internal publications, marketing, social media presence and any other environment in which the brand appears
Marketing
  • Plan, Collaborate, Develop, and Execute marketing campaigns that effectively reach the target audiences, encouraging promoting buy-in among all stakeholder groups
  • Participate in and lead brand strategy discussions and collaborate with the creative team to ensure strategic objectives are met
  • Provide detailed graphic direction to ensure brand integrity
  • Organize and coordinate many tasks under pressure

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or communications with emphasis in Digital Media and brand strategy
  • Minimum of 3 years in print, electronic digital media platforms, and web content management
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail/deadline
  • Demonstrated project management, editing, and computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
  • Ability to multi-task

  • This position requires operating a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Some night and weekend activities are required.
  • Work may be subject to deadlines and require tailoring and delivering programs to meet the needs of many divergent groups.
