Job description
System One is seeking for a Electrical or Mechanical Engineer in Dallas, Texas area who who is familiar with flight control actuation systems to provide support to the Lower Tier Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC) 3 Missile production related to guidance and flight control hardware procurement and integration and supporting the PAC3 System production.
The Candidate will support the subject matter expert (SME), resolving technical issues and monitoring a major subcontractor and related sub tier subcontractors. The position will provide oversight and technical evaluation of production non-conformances and participation in associated failure investigations, and evaluation of vendor engineering change proposals. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of system performance characterization using DC motor parameters, torque-speed curves, step and frequency response, and experience providing design and production manufacturing support of electro-mechanical servo systems comprised of DC motors, controllers, gear and ball screw drive trains, and feedback devices. The Candidate must be able to work in a collaborative Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment. The candidate should be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with customers and contractors in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have some experience on a learning trajectory in the field of servo control, and must possess an active (or be able to obtain) a DoD secret security clearance. Domestic travel approximately 10-20 % is anticipated for support at production integration, supplier, and customer test facilities. Basic Qualifications :Job tags
