Job Title: Communications Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of communication strategies to enhance our organization's visibility and reputation. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to achieve communication goals. The Communications Associate will play a key role in crafting compelling content for various platforms, managing social media channels, and supporting media relations efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive communication plans to promote organizational initiatives and projects.
- Create engaging content for a variety of channels including website, social media, newsletters, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Manage and maintain the organization's social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, and compile relevant reports for internal stakeholders.
- Support media relations activities such as drafting press releases, media pitches, and coordinating interviews.
- Assist in organizing and promoting events, webinars, and other outreach activities.
- Conduct research to identify communication opportunities and target audiences.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of communication tools and resources, such as media lists, style guides, and templates.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including managing communication calendars, tracking metrics, and coordinating meetings.
