Job Description
The ideal candidate will perform the following:
- You provide a demand forecast up to 24th month on a rolling base for all automotive products of Bosch that are delivered to your customer including SOP/EOP planning, successor planning and reference planning.
- To do so, you
- verify the mid- and long-term demand forecast provided by the assigned automotive customer.
- collect, match, and analyze further data beyond customer forecasts such as automotive market prognosis, sales planning, additional volume requests, cars' bill of material etc.
- prepare data based on analysis by either adding information, exclusion of data or correction of data.
- reflect demand forecast in SAP-APO-DP.
- keep a very close contact to customer and sales.
- have the know-how on your specific customer and its products.
- You regularly explain and report demand development of your customer to various internal stakeholders.
- You track KPIs to continuously monitor your forecasting performance, identify / realize levers of improvement and finally outperform the expectations of your stakeholders.
- You support projects and initiatives related to customer demand planning such as MOFA or Cars' bill of material (= Car BOM).
Role will report to the Senior Manager Regional Demand Planning: Mobility Sector
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration/Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience
- 2+ years of operational experience of demand forecasting & material requirements planning
- 2+ years of experience working with SAP Demand Planning
- Advanced in MS Excel and Power BI
Preferred:
- Knowledge of IPN planning, and machine learning
- Advanced knowledge of both statistical & judgmental forecasting
- Advanced knowledge of automotive customer order planning and good knowledge of production planning and material requirements planning
