Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring FIELD ENGINEERS for a full-service ground engineering company. Company is open to relocation. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years heavy construction experience and the ability to travel or relocate in the US for other large scale projects. For immediate consideration, apply today.
Activities and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all and OSHA safety regulations are followed and enforced.
- Ensure all installation follows Quality Control Manual, Approved Submittals and Work Plans.
- Perform field quality control tests.
- Prepare and manage quality control and production records.
- Review and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.
- Run small work crews (technical tasks like water testing, load testing, etc.).
- Perform field surveys and resolves geometry issues.
- Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work.
- Order materials, writes purchase orders, and tracks inventory.
- Assist in preparation of change order documentation and claim analysis.
- Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
- 4-year degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical training and related experience.
- 2 -3 years of prior construction site work experience.
- Bi-fluid or Tri-fluid JG experience is recommended.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook and CAD.
- Converse effectively using both verbal and written communication.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.
- Make decisions and assume accountability.
- Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
- Thorough and systematic, able to effectively manage time and competing deadlines.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment.
- Assess safety and risk.
- Ability to Travel or be relocated to projects in USA
