ROLE OVERVIEW:
You are a highly experienced Creative Professional who will elevate the brand while supporting the overall business growth within our Wholesale, Ecommerce and Retail channels. This is a truly unique opportunity to create a consumer connection with purpose and lifestyle motivations. In partnership with the executive team, you will help visually articulate and architect the strategy, vision, and execution for all brand creative initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary, strategic, and will create an environment of big thinking and collaboration between marketing, digital and product teams. You have a broad range of hands-on experience from brand elevation, awareness and identity, seasonal campaigns, art direction and consumer connection. A strong sense of curiosity to experiment across a variety of platforms. You are also an inspirational leader who will encourage creative thinking and attract and develop high performing teams.
JOB TITLE: Creative Director
REPORTS TO: Vice President, Marketing
LOCATION: Charleston, SC
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be involved in all aspects of creative design from ideation to execution in support of strategic initiatives and overall business goals, in product design, global campaigns, eCommerce marketing, and social media posts.
- Ensure branding and communication across all channels are consistent and aligned with the strategic vision of the company.
- Partner with senior leadership within Marketing to create seasonal plans to help achieve and execute business strategies.
- You will define the brand’s creative needs and develop and execute brand strategies that include various business units such as Product, Store Design, Graphic/Web Design, Photography, and Copywriting
- Oversee the design development and templates for all campaigns, advertising, digital communications, and corporate communications.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in design or related field required and 10 plus years of creative leadership experience in retail with a portfolio demonstrating excellence in brand identity, design, and imagery or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Keen eye for detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of creative trends and tools
- Awareness of fashion culture and trends to ensure the brand remains relevant and resonates with its target audience.
- The ability and willingness to be hands-on and in the weeds with design and product development while also being able to champion the brand strategy required
- An ability to leverage data and insights to inform creative strategies.
- Must have strong communication, presentation, problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Inspire creativity and work well cross functionally - all while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
